The digitalization and the technological progress changes everything and everyone is affected, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity and other factors. My name is Linda, I’m a social entrepreneur, public speaker and the mother of two. I spend a large part of my time giving talks, helping people and organizations find their own strategy in a rapidly changing world and constantly pondering questions around our society, future and how technology affects and forms us as humans. I have a background in computer science, education and business, with extensive experience from training, research and project management.

I am a docent in computer science education and have a long and extensive background in scientific and empirical research and evaluation. I currently work as a project researcher at Åbo Akademi University and as an adjunct lecturer at Linköping University in Linköping, Sweden. My research is close to practice and focuses on digital competence, programming and making at K-12 level, both from a teacher and student perspective.I have also founded the nonprofit Make It Finland, with the mission to promote digital competence for all. If you want a 16 minute quick explanation for why I do the things I do, you can have a look at my TEDx talk below.
